PALESTINE, Ill. - It's a pretty sad day when you get picked up on outstanding warrants of arrest for...local ordinance violations.
Yet that's just what happened, according to Palestine Police Chief Jeff Besing up on Crawford County.
According to information Besing released this morning,
Besing said that yesterday (Tuesday, April 23) at approximately 7:00 p.m., he was notified by Central Dispatch that a bench warrant (body attachment) had been issued for Dalton Mattingly, 18 of Palestine.
Chief Besing located Mattingly in the 400 block of W. Grand Prairie Street where he was taken into custody without incident.
Mattingly was transported to the Crawford County Jail where he was served the bench warrant for prior ordinance violations and is being held pending payment of a $150.00 cash bond.
