CLAY CO., Ill. - Perhaps the pleasant weather has made a lot more people a lot more active...but whatever is going on in Clay County, Sheriff Andy Myers and the deputies have had their work cut out for them from April 3rd to the 10th. Here's the report.
April 3, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Christopher M. Buening, 45, Mason, on an outstanding Clay County Contempt warrant. Bond set at $150.00 cash. He posted bond and was released.
April 5, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Timothy W. Highsmith, 48, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County Contempt warrant. Bond set at $150.00 cash. He posted bond and was released.
April 7, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Ronald W. Guinn, 49, Louisville, for Aggravated Assault. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.
April 8, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Quinton M. Schoreck, 21, Farina, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Petition to Revoke Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond on the warrant. Schoreck is currently incarcerated for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, awaiting the setting of bond on that charge.
April 8, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Adam Simpson, 35, Ingraham, on an outstanding Clay County Contempt warrant. Bond set at $100.00 cash. He posted bond and was released.
April 9, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Dana Taylor, 31, Flora, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors. Taylor is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail awaiting the setting of bond.
April 9, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Tiffany N. March, 31, Cisne, on an outstanding Wayne County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Theft. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.
April 8, the Clay County Sheriff's Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 9:03 a.m. north of the intersection of Tanner Street and Chestnut Street in Louisville. Apparently Christopher A. McGee, 40, operating a 2015 Chevrolet pick up was traveling north on Tanner
Street, when he met a southbound 2005 Ford operated by Krystal Shroyer, 34, Louisville, and the vehicles collided. Minor injuries reported.
April 9, David K. Wells, 49, Toledo, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.
April 10, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Amy J. Gray, 46, Flora, for Violation of Bond on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail awaiting court appearance.
