WHITE CO., Ill. - A Wabash County man has entered a plea in his White County cases, one dating back to 2018, after being charged again in White on a meth count February 2.

Johnathan Schrodt, 33, of the Wabash County village of Keensburg, was already on the wrong side of authorities because of an incident last summer in which he was charged with Aiding or Abetting the Possession or Sale of a Stolen Vehicle August 7.
Schrodt was given a nice deal for such a serious (Class 2) felony: A little less than 2 months later, he entered a plea and received three years probation, 100 hours of public service, a stayed sic-month jail sentence, and ordered to pay $1,887 in fines and fees, none of which have been paid.
But on Feb. 2, Schrodt was again busted in White County, on Class 2 felony Use of a Vehicle in the Commission of a Meth Crime, and Possession of Meth less than 5 grams.
Today (March 27), with the probation on the previous count having been revoked, Schrodt was sent off to the Illinois Department of Corrections for a four-year sentence on the Meth Possession felony (to be followed by a year of parole) and three years/10 months on the Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, which they're allowed to do if he screws up probation (he must serve two years of parole after release on that case).
White County State's Attorney Denton Aud noted that the Grayville Police Department was the arresting agency in both cases, and Judge T. Scott Webb presided over the proceedings today.
