
FLORA, Ill. - A two-vehicle collision sent a Flora woman to the local hospital and got her cited as well, early this afternoon in the city of Flora.
Illinois State Police in District 12 Effingham worked the wreck, which occurred on U.S. 50 in Flora at 12:11 p.m. today, Wednesday March 20, 2019.
Preliminary investigative details indicate that a white 2012 Chevrolet Traverse being driven by Brenda L. Bradham, 58 of Flora, was traveling southbound on Stanford Road.
Bradham stopped at the US 45/50 intersection, then proceeded southbound through the intersection and was struck by a red 2002 Kenworth truck-tractor pulling a trailer, being operated by Eric Bruno, 32, of Pinckneyville, which was traveling eastbound on US 45/50.
Bradham was transported to Clay County Hospital up the road from the accident; there is no indication that Bruno was injured.
Bradham was later cited for Failure to Yield at Intersection and No Proof of Insurance.
