MT. CARMEL, Ill. - Some people just don't know how it works in the crim realm.
One of those would be Sarah Keenan, who has made the brief Mt. Carmel Police Department activity report again, this time for an incident in which it's alleged that she harassed a witness. But first, another couple of arrests are mentioned in this report, covering the past few days in Mt. Carmel.
The report begins on March 15, when Mt. Carmel Police arrested Darrin L. Nation, 46 of Mt. Carmel, after he was stopped by police. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Nation was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Nation was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for driving while license is suspended. Nation was held pending the posting of $150.00 bond., which documents show has not yet been posted
That same day, MCPD arrested Donna J. Belka, 51 of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County warrant charging her with felony deceptive practice. Belka was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of $500.00 cash bond; as of this morning (March 19) it had not yet been posted.

And then on Saturday, March 16, MCPD arrested Sarah A. Keenan, 48 of Mt. Carmel, on a Wabash County warrant charging her with harassment of a witness. Police went to her residence and placed her under arrest, with no other details available in the report, so we don't know who it was that she allegedly harassed; however, here's a link to the previous report about her charges. Keenan was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of $4,000.00 cash bond; lesson learned: If you have a pending case, don't mess with anyone else involved in it. Allegedly, of course.
