Herrin police activity features guy from Effingham County, and juveniles

HERRIN, Ill. - A couple of juveniles, as well as a young man down all the way from Altamont in Effingham County, made this week’s Herrin Police Department weekly arrest report for the week ending February 18, 2019.

Ryan L. Heckwine, 45, Carbondale, was arrested on Feb. 12 for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Heckwine was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

A 15-year-old juvenile from Herrin was arrested on Feb. 14 for disorderly conduct and battery. The juvenile was released to a guardian.

Matthew A. Lawrence, 18, Herrin, was arrested on Feb. 14 for domestic battery. Lawrence was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Kaci B. Wright, 27, Carbondale, was arrested on Feb. 15 for driving under the influence, reckless driving, improper lane usage and operating uninsured vehicle. Wright was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Danny R. Woodhall, 25, Marion, was arrested on Feb. 15 for driving while license revoked/suspended, defective muffler, expired registration, operating uninsured vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol. Woodhall also had a warrant for a traffic violation. Woodhall was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Alena M. Leeper, 21, Herrin, was arrested on Feb. 15 for illegal transportation of alcohol. Leeper also had a warrant for a theft charge. Leeper was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

John Young, 33, Herrin, was arrested on Feb. 16 for reckless driving. Young was released on an individual bond.

Tanner M. Conner, 23, Altamont, was arrested on Feb. 16 for driving while license revoked/suspended. Conner was released on a individual bond.

Louis E. Pearson Jr., 41, Herrin, was arrested on Feb. 16 on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. Pearson was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Austin D. Norris, 22, Marion, was arrested on Feb. 17 for driving while license revoked/suspended, speeding and obstructed windshield. Norris was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

A 16-year-old juvenile from Energy was arrested on Feb. 17 for possession of cannabis. The juvenile was released to a guardian.

Robbie S. Bedford, 47, Herrin, was arrested on Feb. 18 for assault and battery. Bedford was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Christopher T. Phelps, 37, Herrin, was arrested on Feb. 18 on warrant's for traffic and theft. Phelps was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
