CARMI, Ill. - Authorities aren't saying whether or not the arrest of Michael French is remotely related to another made at about the same time Thursday, but folks in the know can make a pretty good guess.
Carmi Police reports indicate that one Dustin Bell, 31, Highway 1 address in Carmi, was observed walking along Fairground Road Thursday morning (February 21) at 9:35 a.m. The officer knew his to be wanted on an active White County warrant for Attempted Acquisition of Methamphetamine Precursors with a $500 cash bond.
Bell was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the city/county jail, where he remained as of this evening, Friday, February 22.
