PALESTINE, Ill. - The mystery of the masked men in the video stills featured earlier about two businesses being damaged in Palestine has been solved, and as it turns out, it was teens...familiar ones.

Not long after we received the press information about the burglary and damage to the laundromat and a storage facility in the village of Palestine, Chief Jeff Besing has submitted info regarding the arrest of two teens believed responsible for the situation.

As the result of Chief Besing's investigation into the burglary and criminal damage to the Sudsy-Dudsy Laundromat and Brock's Storage Facility, the following male suspects were arrested and charged with the following offenses:

Keondre Weck

Keondre M. Weck, 18 of Robinson: Two counts of Burglary, Class 3 Felony, and two counts of Criminal Damage to Property, Class 4 felony.

Keagan Pittenger

Keagan B. Pittenger, 18 of Palestine: Two counts of Accountability to Burglary, Class 3 Felony, two counts of Accountability to Criminal Damage to Property, Class 4 Felony and one count of Obstructing Justice, Class 4 Felony.

Regular readers will recall that these are the same two punks charged in the burglary of the Saratoga Tavern earlier this year; hopefully, their bond this time won't be so reachable as to let them out to do more harm.

Additional paperwork will be filed with the States Attorney seeking a juvenile petition for similar charges against a 16-year-old male who was also involved in this incident.

Besing said he would like to express appreciation to all the individuals who provided his department with tips concerning the identities of the suspects involved in this incident.

"Thank you for helping your community by saying something," Besing said.
