Laundromat, storage facility damaged in Palestine; police looking for suspects

PALESTINE, Ill. - The Palestine Police Department is investigating a burglary to Brock's Storage Units at 107 E. Harrison Street and Criminal Damage to Property to the Sudsy-Dudsy Laundromat located behind the storage units.

At approximately 12:18 a.m. today (Monday, February 18), two male suspects entered the Sudsy-Dudsy Laundromat and disabled the video surveillance camera's inside while a third male suspect stayed watch outside. A third camera was disabled and damaged on the back of the storage unit building by the third suspect.

The suspects then broke two windows on the northwest corner of the storage window which is the entry door window and a storage unit window.

Entry was gained into one of the storage units.

Photos of the suspects are attached as the Palestine Police Department is asking if anyone recognizes these suspects to notify Chief Jeff Besing at 618-586-2464 or 618-546-1515.
