
MT. CARMEL, Ill. – People in bad moods dominate the Mt. Carmel city police report this past weekend, although there was one errant alleged forger in there, too.
MCPD reports that on January 25, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Michelle L. Johnson, 47 of Mt. Carmel, after police were notified of a disturbance at 1413 W. Third Street. Police arrived on scene and were told that Johnson had been on the property after receiving notification barring her from that location. Police located Johnson at her home and placed her under arrest for criminal trespass to state supported property. Johnson was held pending the posting of bond.
On the 26th, MCPD arrested Tracy Deckard, 50 of Mt. Carmel, after they were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of W. 12th Street. The alleged victim told police that Deckard pushed her to the ground during an argument. Deckard was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with domestic battery.

On the 27th is when the errant guy emerged: Mt. Carmel Police arrested Jason C. List, 38 of Mt. Carmel, on a Wabash County forgery charge. Police located List in the 500 block of Walnut Street and placed him into custody. List was transported to the Wabash County Jail and is being held pending the posting of $1000.00 cash bond.

And then lastly, and also on the 27th, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Clint R. Ford, 30 of Mt. Carmel, after they responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of Glendale Avenue. Police were told that Ford entered the residence without permission from the homeowner and committed a battery against a resident living in the home. Ford was later located and formally charged with criminal trespass to a residence and battery. Ford was held until the posting bond.
