MARION, Ill. - A Kentucky man in his 5Os was found in distress at a Marion, Illinois, massage business Wednesday morning (January 16, 2019.)
Police received the call of the man in distress at 10:57 a.m. and responded to the business, which name is unclear; a sign above the entryway states simply "Massage," but it's unknown if that's the name of the place or if the name (as tracked back by the phone number) is "King Spa" (confusing because it's unclear whether there's actually a spa there), as none of the employees speak English and it was impossible today to contact anyone, as the place was closed.
The man, whose name has not been released, was taken by ambulance and later died at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
The man's death is not being considered suspicious.
As stated above, no one was available at the massage business for comment. The business, "King Spa," "Massage" or otherwise, is located in a strip mall at 807 N. Court Street.
