WHITE CO., Ill. - White County Sheriff Doug Maier has released stats for his department for the month of December, 2018.
Maier said the revenue from the jail for December was $84,852.50.
The inmate population was 72, with 24 from White County and 48 out-of-county.
The jail was housing for Illinois' Marshal Service, Indiana Marshal Service, Edwards County and Hamilton County.
The department held a safety meeting on January 3 at the training room, which involved all corrections officers and deputies.
Maier stated that White is no longer housing Gallatin County inmates; they were removed when the daily rate increased.
White County Sheriff's Office handled 342 calls for service for the month of December, and Dispatch handled 1,044 calls for service.
