MARION, Ill. – Today’s Marion City Police activity report has some interesting incidents – like an alleged drunk guy attracting the attention of the cops for an unusual reason – as well as the typical meth and theft arrests.
That guy would be Jonathan Travis, 37 of Paducah, Ky., who apparently is alleged to have gotten drunk, then took a walk….or a stagger, as the case may be. Travis was arrested for Obstructing Identification and Pedestrian Under the Influence of Alcohol on January 9.
Laurie Yates, 48 of Cobden, has been arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on January 9.
Virginia Beck, 33 of West Frankfort has been issued a citation for Retail Theft in the 2800 block of Outer Dr. on January 10.
Elizabeth Strong, 28 of Cambria, has been arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Assault in the 3000 block of W DeYoung St on January 10.
Adam Williams, 28 of Cambria, has been arrested for Retail Theft in the 3000 block of W DeYoung St on January 10.
Nicholas Cuprisin, 25 of Marion, has been arrested for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol and two counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in 2600 block of Vernell Dr. on January 10.
Katherine Hermann, 27 of Johnston City, has been arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines in the area of Main St and Carbon St on January 12.
Whitney Veach, 39 of Zeigler, has been arrested for Resisting Arrest and Possession of Methamphetamines in the 1300 block of Enterprise Way on January 12.
Clarence J. Smith, 27 of Cape Girardeau, Mo., has been arrested for Criminal Sexual Assault in the 1800 block of Bittle Place on January 12.
Leander West, 30 of Cairo, has been arrested for Aggravated Battery in the 1800 block of Bittle Place on January 12.
Damien Jornlin, 26 of Johnston City, has been arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines in the 600 block of S Carbon St onJanuary 13.
