WHITE CO., Ill. - White County State's Attorney Denton Aud had a busy week starting Monday, January 7, as he facilitated the transport of four local crims to the state's penitentiaries for various crimes.

The sentencing started Monday, January 7, with Skyler N. Johnston, 25, of Grayville, who was sentenced on his recent Class 3 felony Possession of Meth charge. Johnson received a sentence of three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, to be followed by a year of parole. Grayville Police Department was the arresting agency in the case.

On Wednesday, January 9, Jonathon G. Fann, 36, of McLeansboro, was sentenced on his Class 2 felony Unlawful Use of Property case. He received an 8 year sentence to IDOC, which is to be followed by two years of parole. Carmi PD was the arresting agency on this one.

Also on Wednesday, a Fairfield woman was sentenced on a Class 4 felony Theft count. Amanda M. Scott, 32, caught three years in IDOC, to be followed by a year of parole. White County Sheriff's Department was the investigating agency on the crime

And lastly on Wednesday, Brandi L. Holland, 32 of Carmi, was sentenced on her Class 4 felony Criminal Damage to Property case, for which she received two years in IDOC, to be followed by a year of parole. Carmi. This case was investigated by the Carmi Police Department, which did its usual great job. as did Aud in defending the people of White County.
