SALINE CO.—Officers of the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force and deputies of the Saline County Sheriff’s Office made several drug arrests overnight, according to a press release by Saline County Sheriff D. Keith Brown.
The arrests were made just outside of Harrisburg, with officers working from tips of possible drug activity along Quails Run Lane, about two miles south of town.
Officers arrested Terry R. Wilson, 49, of Harrisburg for Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Meth Manufacturing Material and Unlawful Manufacture of Meth.
Joseph P. Stefko, 50, of Harrisburg, was also arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Failure to Appear for Status Hearing on Meth Possession and Driving While Suspended (Enhanced), Failure to Appear for Status Hearing on Unlawful Participation in Meth Manufacturing, Unlawful Possession of Anhydrous, Unlawful Possession of Meth Manufacturing Material, Methamphetamine Possession, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Failure to Appear for Status Hearing on meth Possession, Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons, three counts of Unlawful Possession of Weapons by a Felon and three for Possession of Weapon without Required FOID card and Driving While Suspended (Enhanced).
And Edith Gulley, 27, daughter of the late Cecil Gulley (dope crim extraordinaire), formerly of Harrisburg and now hailing from Cahokia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended, and ticketed for Driving with No Headlights When Required and Illegal Use of an Amplified Sound System.
Tips from the public led to the arrests and the public is encouraged to contact the Saline County Sheriff’s Office when they see suspicious activity. Saline County Sheriff’s Office is a member of the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force.
