CROSSVILLE, Ill. - Crazy Patti Hyatt needs to get some new associates.
CP (as she’s known in Crossville; NOT our moniker, Crossville residents hung that on her) is back on the police blotter, but this time, not as a perp or a victim; instead, her residence was the scene of an alleged battery, and another individual was arrested for it.
Sheriff’s office reports indicate that yesterday (Sunday, december 16), at approximately 7:25 p.m., Corenea Cullison, 21 of Grayville, and Hyatt, 57, came to the sheriff’s office to report a battery. Cullison stated she was battered while at Hyatt’s house in Crossville by one Erika Bailey, 18, of Grayville.
Cullison said she was visiting Hyatt and at approximately 6:30 p.m., Bailey came in the house. Cullison stated she was sitting on a bed when Bailey asked if she could have a sip of her soda. Bailey then grabbed her soda and threw it at Cullison. She then jumped on top of Cullison and started pulling her hair. She grabbed her lip and then grabbed her left arm and bit Cullison.
The bite mark on Cullison’s arm was clearly visible, the deputy noted.
Hyatt witnessed the incident and said that she had to threaten Bailey with a baseball bat to get her to leave.
There was no indication of what the two young women had a beef over that might’ve prompted the alleged altercation; further and of more interest, there was no indication of what on earth Cullison, at half Hyatt’s age, was doing hanging out there, as well as why Bailey, even younger, would bother to just up and stop by, especially given everything that Hyatt and her two felonious sons are constantly up to (or, more likely, because of same.)
Whatever the case, it apparently isn’t being taken very seriously, as no one’s in jail and as of this evening, no one’s been charged.
