DISTRICT 19 - Illinois State Police in District 19 Carmi have released reports on the Occupant Restraint Enforcement Patrols (OREP, or, seatbelt patrols) held in three counties during November: Wayne, Saline and Gallatin.
ISP says the OREP provided extra patrol coverage for the ISP so officers could focus on saving lives by making sure all vehicle occupants were buckled up.
