Corporate-style jet crashes in rural Clark County, Indiana; no survivors

CLARK CO., Ind. - Indiana State Police have released details about the plane crash that took the lives of all aboard happening earlier today, Friday, November 30.

ISP said that shortly before 11:30 a.m. on today’s date, police agencies in Clark County were alerted by residents in the area of 2627 Crone Road, near Borden, of a possible plane crash in a wooded area nearby. Emergency Responders arrived at the rural wooded area to find a debris field from the reported crash.

After it was determined there were no survivors at the crash site it was secured by police officers. It will remain secured until the National Transportation Safety Board, (NTSB), and Federal Aviation Administration, (FAA), arrive to assume the lead role in the crash investigation.

The Clark County Airport located in Sellersburg, Ind., confirmed a flight left their airport at 11:24 a.m., enroute to Chicago, with allegedly three people aboard the flight (including the pilot).

The information contained in this news release is all that can be released by this agency. All other information will have to be released by the NTSB or the FAA.
