WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. – Despite the holiday, the activity was fairly brisk in the criminal world in Williamson County, both alleged and convicted (or disposed), as you’ll see in this week’s installment of the ever-popular FELONY FRIDAY, so let’s kick it into gear and see what’s what.
Felonies charged
Randall L. Walker, 39 of Marion, is charged with Meth Delivery more than 15 grams but less than 100.
Jordan T. Lipe, 27 of Energy, is charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Except (A) and (D).
Danielle N. Wilkie, 32 of Herrin, is charged with Theft/Control Under $500 with prior conviction.
Dustin L. Williams, 32 of Herrin, is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams.
Travis A. Taitt, 27 of Hurst, is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams.
Jessica N. Earnshaw, 28 of Johnston City, is charged with Residential Burglary.
Michael L. Hanks, 23 of Marion, is charged with one count Bad Check/Control of Property over $150.
Robyn Cheatham, 28 of West Frankfort, is charged with Bad Check/Control Property over $150.
James R. Brandon Jr., 37 of Maywood, Illinois, is charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon/Vehicle.
Alexander Michael Page, 20 of Johnston City, is charged with Aggravated Battery/Use of a Deadly Weapon and Criminal Damage to Property between $500 and $10,000.
Justin T. Williams, 27 of Marion, is charged with Criminal Damage between $10,000 and $100,000.
Monica K. Acree, 49 of Grand Chain, is charged with Theft of Shopping Cart Under $300 with previous conviction.
Teran E. Jones, 43 of Colp, is charged with Domestic Battery/Harm being previously convicted 1-2.
Dara Stockstill, 37, is charged with Bad Check/Control over $150.
Felony Dispositions
Noah Robinson, 23 of Marion, plead not guilty to Criminal Damage to Government Property; he was found guilty and received 18 months probation, alcohol treatment, fine, and 81 days in jail with credit for time served. Terminate/Unsatisfied. He plead not guilty to a separate charge of Burglary and was found guilty. He received 30 months probation, costs only, 180 days in jail with credit for 103 days served, alcohol treatment and restitution.
Greg D. Smith, 44 of Hurst, plead not guilty to Aggravated Fleeing Police 21 mph over speed limit. He plead guilty to a reduced misdemeanor charge of Reckless Driving and received 12 months conditional discharge and fines.
Steven A. Ward, 29 of Johnston City, plead not guilty to Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer; charges dismissed. He plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of Resisting a Peace Officer. He received 12 months conditional discharge and 39 days in jail with credit for time served and fines.
Gunter D. Mitchell, 22 of West Frankfort, plead guilty to Unlawful Use of a Loaded Weapon/No FCCA/FOID. He received 12 months conditional discharge and fines.
Derek L. Bloodworth, 33 of Marion, plead not guilty to Burglary, charge dismissed on State’s Motion. He plead guilty to an added misdemeanor charge of Theft/Control/Intent over $500. He received 12 months conditional discharge and fines.
James A. Besson Jr., 44 of Herrin, plead not guilty to Aggravated Domestic Battery/Strangle; charge dismissed. He plead guilty to a reduced misdemeanor charge of Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm and received 12 months conditional discharge, 79 days in jail with credit for time served and fines.
Angela L. Komasinski, 45 of Marion, plead guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams. Judgment withheld; she received 24 months probation, costs only, 30 hours public service and drug treatment. A charge of Possession of Controlled Substance Except (A) and (D) was dismissed.
Amanda J. Marroy, 31 of New Burnside, was charged with Theft/Control over $500; she plead guilty to an amended misdemeanor charge of Theft under $500 and received 12 months conditional discharge, fines and restitution.
