CARMI, Ill. - Authorities aren't saying what it was that prompted a Carmi woman to allegedly make false 911 calls that resulted in her arrest for it Friday afternoon, but she remains jailed as of today (Tuesday, November 13) over it.
Carmi police report that the arrest of Jennifer L. Murphy, 49, of the 700 block of Burrell Street, happened at 12:08 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, as a warrant had been issued on a charge of Making False 911 Calls.
The nature of the calls was also not revealed in police reports.
Bond was set at $2,000 cash; Murphy remained behind bars as of this morning.
