SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (ECWd) – Springfield School Board Member and former Country Financial representative, Adam Lopez, has been arrested by the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department.
His bond was set at $1.5 million.
According to information on the Circuit Clerk’s webpage, Lopez is being charged with 5 felony counts involving alleged theft and financial exploitation of the elderly, as follows:

Lopez has also been sued by some of his relatives for misuse of their funds, and also by two landlords for failure to pay his rent.
