EDWARDS CO.— A Crossville man, convicted in 2015 for being a drug dealer, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a felony count of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Details in the case indicate that on Friday, November 2, Larry E. Myers, 56, of 102 High School St., Crossville, was sentenced to a total of four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC), followed by a term of two years of parole.
In addition to the time in prison, Myers was ordered to pay $7,122 in fines and fees, of which he has paid nothing.
Myers’s criminal history includes a 1985 felony conviction for Burglary, which earned him a sentence to IDOC for four years.
He was also convicted in White County April 27, 2015 for Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine.
He was sentenced in that case to four years probation.
For violating the terms of that probation with his most recent Edwards County conviction, he was sentenced to four years IDOC, but that has been ordered to run concurrent, which means at the same time, meaning when he’s done with serving his Edwards County sentence he will be done with the drug dealer sentence as well.
Myers still owes $3,331.50 in fines and fees from that White drug case.
