Oil field fittings, tools found in dumpster, believed stolen

WHITE CO.— A call to the White County Sheriff’s Department concerning a trash dumpster a woman discovered in her yard lead authorities to oil field equipment that didn’t belong to the woman either.

According to details released in the case, at approximately 3:34 p.m. on Friday, October 26, Sergeant Craig Poole and Deputy Randy Graves responded to 106 South Goodman Street in Crossville.

When the officers arrived they spoke with Nikki N. Jacobs, 31, who advised she owned the property and that, that day, she noticed a Bulldog trash dumpster in her back yard and that the dumpster didn’t belong to her.

Jacobs advised there were tools inside the trashcan and upon further investigation, authorities located miscellaneous tools to include sockets.

All items were taken to the White County Sheriff’s Department.

The incident was lodged as an investigation into Theft over $500.
