A press release from the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), whether they like it or not, has lent credence to the good that the current president's policies are doing in this country.
Of course, the presser studiously overlooks crediting anything of the sort, instead choosing to just kind of skirt around the issue...but make no mistake: Running this country like a business (because running ANYTHING as if it's a business is always the best option) is what we've needed for decades, and in a very short period of time, things can be turned around from disastrous to prosperous.
Here's the presser:
The Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) announced today that the unemployment rate fell to 4.1 percent in August and nonfarm payrolls decreased by -5,200 jobs over-the-month, based on preliminary data provided by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and released by IDES. The July job gain was revised down slightly from its initial report to show no growth. (+0 jobs versus +3,700 jobs).
Job growth moderated in the June to August period posting average monthly gains of +4,000 jobs over this three-month period, less than the prior 3-month average monthly gain of +8,300 jobs between May and July 2018.
“Illinois’ unemployment rate stood at 4.1% in August, matching the lowest rate on record,” said IDES Director Jeff Mays. “Even with the over-the-month drop, nonfarm payrolls have surpassed the prior business cycle peak of September 2000. Jobs are still up more than 47,000 over the year, led by manufacturing.”
“The positive job growth over the last year indicates that efforts to improve the Illinois economy and actively recruit new investment are paying off,” said Illinois Department of Commerce Director Sean McCarthy. “Illinois is seeing the best employment environment since 1999, demonstrating that companies can see the potential to grow in our state.”
The state’s unemployment rate is +0.2 percentage points higher than the national unemployment rate reported for August 2018, which held at 3.9 percent. The Illinois unemployment rate is down -0.9 percentage points from a year ago when it was 5.0 percent. The Illinois jobless rate last stood at 4.1 percent in February 1999. The difference between the Illinois unemployment rate and the U.S. rate represents the smallest gap since December 2010.
On Friday (September 21), the website onenewsnow produced this awesome article, which displays the lies the libwhacks in this country have been touting for the past couple of decades that "there are jobs Americans won't do and that's why we need illegals!" Turns out, Americans WILL do any job at all...if the jobs are available. When you're paying illegals pennies on the dollar, propping that up by giving them a place to live, food to eat and something to drive as "benefits" to compensate lack of pay and all of it coming from the U.S. government in the form of farm subsidies, why WOULDN'T the mega farms go around griping "our local employment pool is full of fools who won't DO this job!!" of picking pumpkins or tobacco or whatever?? They have to foment that lie in order to justify what they're doing...which is driving down wages for real Americans by paying "migrant workers" $3 an hour to pick melons.
With the estimated number of illegals in this country being possibly double what's being legitimately reported, one has to wonder where all these illegals are...because apparently they're not working, if jobs are now becoming available in huge numbers to legal American workers. Are they hiding now, because of massive, successful Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids? (See also here; mainstream media HATES covering these successful, legal and warranted raids because it doesn't fit their narrative and it makes those of us who have spent years reporting on the illegal invasion atrocity...well...RIGHT...so you don't see them actually published with any kind of fanfare. This article has grouped the big ones together and is a great resource to show the success of ICE...as well as the need to keep them active). Are they collecting any sort of public aid, now that they're not on the subsidy teat? (yes, illegals can collect welfare, especially in the state of Illinois).
We'll have to see how things progress before learning the answer to those above questions...but it appears that the truth is emerging in a big way, as even IDES can't deny the upturn.
