Starlett Dunn, none the worse for wear after allegedly swilling beer in Huck's bathroom with her sister last year....
WHITE CO., Ill. - Sticky-fingered Starlett will have to ply her trade with inmates after she was sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections yesterday.
Starlett R. Dunn, 35 of Carmi, was sentenced yesterday (Wednesday, September 19) to three years in IDOC and ordered to serve one year of parole on a Class 3 felony Burglary charge.
Also in yesterday's court action, she was sentenced to three years on a charge of Retail Theft, a Class 4 felony.
White County State's Attorney Denton Aud said the sentences will run concurrently (at the same time, instead of one after the other).
Dunn had been on probation in the Burglary charge for a car burglary, Aud said; however. while on probation, she committed retail theft, resulting in her probation being revoked and the sentences being imposed.
Dunn will also have to pay court costs and restitution; in just a fun little exercise which underscores how crims get away with strapping the counties, Dunn's fines and fees for her crimes in White over the past several years currently amount to $3,864 (but at least her crimes dating back to 2010 [a DUI], 2004 [controlled substances] and 2001 [possession of fireworks] have all been paid).
Carmi Police Department was the investigating agency in both current incidents.
