ELDORADO, Ill. - With Illinois legislators moving ever closer to decriminalizing cannabis altogether, the only option for many people suffering a host of conditions is to apply for and receive medical cannabis, and that process can be frustrating.
The medical cannabis folks, however, are eager to help you if you have one or more of the more than 40 qualifying conditions; as well, if you're curious about whether any of your existing conditions qualify you or a loved one, you'll benefit from what's coming up tonight in Eldorado or in a couple of weeks in Anna.
Thrive, the medical cannabis dispensary in Harrisburg, will be holding Medical Cannabis Seminars in both towns, tonight (Thursday, September 20) in Eldorado at the American Legion, located at 908 Fourth Street, beginning at 5:15 p.m. In Anna, a seminar will be held on Tuesday, October 2, at 4:15 at Stinson Memorial Public Library located at 409 South Main Street.
Topics covered will include how medical cannabis helps with symptom management; what conditions qualify you for a medical cannabis card; how to apply for said card; and each seminar will hold a question-and-answer session.
To reserve your spot, you can call 618-715-0082 or 618-715-0087, or email bbrooks@thriveil.com.
And don't forget (because apparently the word is slow getting out, since we didn't take it to our now-defunct Fecesbook page) - We're no longer producing the print version, so you won't be getting anymore copies in the mail. We will be refunding all print subscribers, so watch the mail for your refund....and use it to subscribe to our online version, which is in the process of getting reworked and will be rolling out very soon!
