Scott Way’s Williamson County mug from his initial arrest in Williamson, 2016

WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - A former Harrisburg elite, having gone down in flames a couple of years ago when the feds caught up to his dope-slinging, has now had charges dismissed in Williamson County in the case that got him hooked up with the feds to begin with.

Scott Alan Way, 38 of Harrisburg, apparently being brought in from federal holding plead Not Guilty this week to one Class X felony count  of Manufacturing between 600 and 1500 Pills/Ecstasy and one Class X felony count Controlled Substance Trafficking...and managed to get both cases dismissed on state's motion.

Records show had been sentenced to 63 months in federal prison, this coming just a couple of weeks ago, August 29. It's unclear what federal facility he'll be sent off to, as apparently he's been in a local lockup on a writ so he can get the Williamson charges taken care of.

You can read all about Scottie Way's history at this link. Be sure you have your online membership to the e-Edition Archives up to date, as some of it appeared in print only...and ties Way in with another highly questionable Harrisburg bigwig who lives in the country club area of town.
