WABASH CO. — Outstanding arrest warrants make up the bulk of the latest arrest report presented by the Mt. Carmel Police Department (MCPD).
Lynda D. Brown
On Sunday, August 26, MCPD arrested Lynda D. Brown, 58 of Mt. Carmel, when Brown was observed on the front porch of her residence in the 800 block of North Cherry Street.
The officer knew Brown had a Wabash County warrant for her arrest for Failure to Appear.
Brown was taken to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with the warrant, along with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia as, according to police, various items used to ingest drugs were located in her purse.
Brown was held pending the posting of a $350 cash bond.
Dustin I. Fisher
On Monday, August 27, MCPD arrested Dustin I. Fisher, 22 of Mt. Carmel, on a Wabash County Failure to Appear Warrant.
Fisher was observed in the parking lot of 1230 N. Walnut Street where he was taken into custody.
Fisher was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was issued the warrant and held on a $200 cash bond.
Karen S. Miskell
The following day, Tuesday, August 28, MCPD arrested Karen S. Miskell, 55 of Mt. Carmel, for Driving While License Suspended and a Wabash County Failure to Appear Warrant.
Miskell was stopped at Third and Walnut Streets after an officer observed Miskell driving a vehicle and knew her to have a suspended driver's license.
Miskell was taken to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged and held on a total of $350 cash bond.
Ashton T. Reed
The department’s latest report wraps up with the Thursday, August 30 arrest of Ashton T. Reed, 24 of Mt. Carmel, for Driving While License Suspended and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle following a traffic stop in the 400 block of West 3rd Street.
Reed was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged and held pending a $200 cash bond.
