WHITE CO., Ill. - “Crazy” Patti Hyatt (not our nickname for her; this is as she’s known in Crossville) has been sending us repeated threats recently, via Fecesbook messaging, email, and when we block each of those, by snail mail.
I wasn’t going to even mention that, as I just know you all are going to want to read it, but now, she’s just compelled me to present her abject vapidity.
What both those paragraphs have in common is the fact that CP has once again been jailed in White County….so now I’m forced to cover her zombie-looking rear once again.
CP could have just faded into Disclosure obscurity, which we were supportive of as we felt like her nasty letter, upon publishing, would have been calling too much attention to her, so we opted not to run it when it came in last month….but the fact is, CP - a convicted felon - keeps getting arrested, and like we told her ages ago…if she doesn’t like seeing her name (and nickname) in Disclosureprint, STOP GETTING ARRESTED.
She just can’t seem to help herself.
As you can see here, she has a new mug to add to the collection we’ve been chronicling for several years now, ever since she first contacted us in 2013 with some cockamamie story about why she was arrested on suspicion of DUI and police got a little more than they bargained for in the stop.
This new mug came about last night (Thursday, August 30) when, at a couple of minutes before 7 p.m., a Carmi police officer apparently on routine patrol, drove down the alley in back of Danny’s Pool Room, which is located on the main drag in town.
There in the alley, he observed a silver Town & Country minivan blocking it. The responding officer obtained information that Hyatt, 56, was the owner of the unoccupied van, and she was located inside Danny’s.
Hyatt was taken into custody on a warrant arrest for that 2013 Wabash County case noted above; according to online court records, she hadn’t paid her fines on a pay or appear status there. As of this morning, she was still incarcerated at White County, apparently unable to post the $200 bond associated with it.
Hyatt, like so many other felons in the area, apparently thinks that if she threatens us with lawsuits, we’ll stop reporting on her…and her sons, Michael Jordan and Joey Jordan, and her brother (or some kind of relative; it appears that they are confused at times when they explain the relationship) Alan Santiago, all of whom are felons. Problem is, because they keep getting on the police blotter, they keep making themselves subject of news items. So here’s a bottom line for the whole bunch: Stop getting arrested, and we’ll stop writing. It’s about that easy...as easy as not blocking an alley with a minivan when you want to go hang out at Danny's.
