MARION, Ill. - A man who was the subject of multiple complaints in the city of Marion - and was identified on social media as a "stalker" - has been charged in Williamson County.
John Rutherford, 38 of Marion, has been taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Restraint, Battery and Disorderly Conduct.
According to social media he has been following and stalking women in various stores in the city.
Some have said he has a foot fetish and likes to touch women’s feet and is always seen wearing a white tee-shirt as in the photos shown here.
He is currently in the Williamson County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
