HARDIN CO.—A frantic search has been on tonight at the Hardin County, Illinois, and Union County, Kentucky, sides of the Ohio River for a missing three-year-old boy.

The only thing we know right now is that the little boy, Carter Nall, is from Marion, Kentucky, and has been missing for several hours.

Hardin County, Ill., Sheriff JT Fricker and his deputies are working the Illinois side of the river. Sheriff’s department authorities responded earlier to what seemed to be a cry for help from across the way at one riverside point in Hardin County, Saline Landing (at the Gallatin/Hardin county line), learned it was someone assisting with the search for the missing boy, and launched their assistance effort from that call for help.

Our sources have also indicated that authorities have been utilizing a boat from Cave-in-Rock Fire Department to search up and down the river for the little boy. A search helicopter has also been dispatched to cover the river territory.

Please keep him in your prayers for a safe recovery.
