HARRISBURG, Ill. - The two males suspected in the shooting of Harrisburg thug Ramonte Scott have been identified by Harrisburg police officials.
The two are Andrew D. Johnson, 32, and Mario J. Ward, 34.
Harrisburg Police Chief David Morris said that the shooting incident went down this morning when, at about 5:30 a.m., Saline County Dispatch received a call reporting that a male had been shot in the 00 block of North Club Street in Harrisburg.
City officers, as well as Saline County deputies and Eldorado police personnel, responded and found Scott lying in a yard with multiple gunshot wounds to his person. He was, according to press information, transferred from the scene to a local hospital; our sources this morning, however, advised that he was taken by helicopter to another facility for treatment.
Johnson and Ward are to be considered armed and dangerous, Chief Morris reports.
"If you know the whereabouts of the two, please contact your local law enforcement agency immediately," Morris said, "or call the Harrisburg Police Department at 618-252-8661."
All information will be considered confidential, Morris added.
