HARRISBURG, Ill. - One of the gang of thugs in the city of Harrisburg has been the latest victim of a shooting, and authorities are looking for two males involved.
The shooting - an activity that had slowed down in recent months - happened earlier this morning (Monday, August 13), and sent Ramonte Scott, 24 of Harrisburg, out to a regional hospital by helicopter.
Authorities are looking for two black males, first names and ages unavailable, by the last names of Johnson and Ward. The shooting occurred on Club Street; we don't have even an approximate time. That's all we have on the matter right now.
Scott is one of the hangers-on of the entire criminal cabal involving Xzavier Gibbs, Jared Crawford, Dennis Jackson and a few others who have terrorized Harrisburg for more than six years now. The late Mike Henshaw, as state's attorney, was thrilled when Jackson was busted in mid-March 2017 in a case that ultimately sent him to federal detention. However, Henshaw died five days after Jackson's arrest, and the gang has proliferated since then, because, as we predicted, Jayson Clark as state's attorney is not only out of his element, but is apparently more concerned with engaging in outside activities with members of his prosecutorial staff than he is actually doing something meaningful to the gangbangers in Harrisburg, who are literally taking over (last week there was a broad-daylight, armed home invasion about a half-block away from our own house. I was advised of this by law enforcement while I was mowing my lawn. We've received no follow-up on it. I'd say "it's getting ridiculous," but after all these shootings, and at least one death, it's WAY beyond ridiculous at this point.)
There's been no word on Scott's current condition, and no word on the progress of the search for the two wanted in connection with the shooting
