Joe's Place is the place, at 104 North 14 Street in Herrin, located in the former Illinois Cafe building.
Owner Joe Smith, many of you may remember, owned the Monarch several years ago. After a hiatus he opened Joe's Place in November of last year.

I was informed by Nikki. the waitress who is the owner's daughter-in-law, that the recipes are still the same.
They even have a working jukebox!
Hours are Monday through Friday 11 a.m. til 9 p.m. and Saturday from 3 p.m. til 9 p.m.
