PALESTINE, Ill. - A woman in the village of Palestine had a bad day commence this morning when she found out she was being transported for a probation-ordered drug test.
At approximately 9:40 a.m. this morning (August 1, 2018), Chief Jeff Besing was directed by the Crawford County Probation Office to pick up and transport a female subject to the Crawford County Jail for a probation order drug test.
Chief Besing located the female subject, Kaycee J. McDaniel, 36, in the 600 block of W. Market Street and transported her to the Crawford County Jail.
McDaniel admitted to having used methamphetamine and that she would fail the drug test. So McDaniel was placed under arrest by Chief Besing and charged with Violation of Probation, Class 3 felony, and is being held pending bond being set by the judge.
