HARRISBURG, Ill. - Folks in Saline County and surrounding areas have the chance to make a difference in the life of a toddler who's fighting a devastating illness.
A benefit for Indy Jones, age 3, is set to be held at the Elk's Lodge in Harrisburg, located at 220 Vince Ashley Drive. This benefit will be held this Saturday, July 28, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Little Indy was diagnosed with pleuuropulmonary blastoma type 3, a rare lung cancer, in April of this year. She's currently undergoing treatment in Indianapolis. This event will help provide funds for Indy's family to help with hospital, treatment, and travel expenses.
The benefit will involve an $8 spaghetti dinner, a silent auction, an in-house poker run, vendor tables, basket raffles, and a 50/50 drawing.
