CARRIER MILLS, Ill. - The death of a man in Carrier Mills this morning caused quite a commotion with all the law enforcement response - including, we're being told, ISP - but the official word is that the gentleman died in his sleep.
It's been confirmed that the 31-year-old male was found unresponsive at his home on the 100 block of East Harrison Street in the Mills at about 9 a.m. this morning (Saturday, July 21).
The response was huge, but it's been determined that there was no foul play involved and that the man died in his sleep, which does happen even to folks of a young age.
We're withholding the gentleman's name until we've had it confirmed that all next-of-kin are notified; kindly do the same if you happen to know who it is.
