July 16, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Troy L. Grove, 54, Flora, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Disorderly Conduct. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
July 16, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Jacob L. Frank, 32, Clay City, for Violation of Bond on the original charge of Domestic Battery. Bond set at $8,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
July 16, Matthew Lee Tolliver-Goode, 21, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Criminal Damage to Property. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
July 17, Jeffery W. Wilkins, 39, Cisne, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Violation of Order of Protection after Service. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
July 18, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Kelly R. Moats, 31, Louisville, for Unlawful Possession of Methemphetamine Precursors. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10 percent). She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
July 18, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Jonathon G. Zimmerman, 38, Farina, for one count of Felony Theft and one count of Misdemeanor Theft. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail awaiting the setting of bond.
July 18, the Clay County Sheriff's Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 6:42 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 50 and Sunset Road west of Clay City. Apparently David L. Mefford, 52, Flora, operating a 2004 Jeep 4 Door, was travelling east on U.S. Route 50, slowed in traffic to turn onto Sunset Road and was struck by a 2006 Nissan operated by Terri S. Krutsinger, 59, Clay City. Krutsinger was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid and Accident. She was given a Notice to Appear and released.
