FLORA, Ill. - The Flora Police Department activity report for mid-June (the 18th) through this past Saturday (the 23rd) is looking quite familiar…as in, it’s a busy one.
Here’s the report, as provided by Chief John Nicholson.
Monday, June 18 at 7:50 pm, Flora Police arrested Misty Parish, 37, of Flora for No Valid Driver’s License, following a traffic stop in the 200 block of West 3rd Street. Parish underwent booking at Flora Police Department and was released with a Notice to Appear.
Tuesday, June 19 at 8:49 pm, Flora Police arrested Albert Harper, 35, of Flora on a Clay County Warrant and for Possession of Methamphetamine, following an incident in the 200 block of West Maple Street. Harper underwent booking at Flora Police Department prior to being transferred to the Clay County Jail in Louisville.
Wednesday, June 20 at 1:36 pm, Tammy Merrell, 52, of Louisville was issued a citation for Speeding, following a traffic stop in the 300 block of East 12th Street.
Thursday, June 21 at 3:11 am, Flora Police arrested Patrick Evilsizer, 25, of Flora for Disorderly Conduct, following an incident in the 800 block of Meadowview. Evilsizer was transported to Flora Police Department for booking and was released with a Notice to Appear.
Thursday, June 21 at 9:31 am, Flora Police arrested Kristopher Blankenship, 38, of St. Elmo on a Fayette County for Failure to Appear. Blankenship was transported to Flora Police Department; he was unable to post the necessary bond and was transferred to the custody of Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Thursday, June 21 at 2:24 pm, Flora Police investigated an accident at the intersection of South Stanford and East North Avenue, involving a 2015 Chevy operated by Larry Seidle, of Flora and a 2012 Dodge operated by Ethel Workman, also of Flora. No injuries were reported.
Friday, June 22 at 11:57 am, Flora Police investigated an accident in the 1400 block of North State Road, involving a 2016 Ford operated by Faith Welty, 20, of Clay City and a 1997 Mazda operated by Richard Book, 62, of Cisne. No injuries were reported.
Friday, June 22 at 4:42 pm, Bradley Caudle, 29, of Fairfield was arrested for Driving While License Suspended, following a traffic stop in the 100 block of North Elm Street. Caudle was transported to Flora Police Department, where he was photographed and fingerprinted, prior to being released with a Notice to Appear.
Friday, June 22 at 6:02 pm, Flora Police investigated an accident at the intersection of East North Avenue and Stanford Road, involving a 2012 Chevy Silverado, operated by Lindell Galloway, 64, of Flora and a 2012 Ford, operated by Madison Harmon, 21, of Xenia. Galloway was cited for Failure to Yield at Intersection. No injuries were reported.
Saturday, June 23 at 12:01 am, Flora Police arrested John Sherman, 24, of Flora for Driving While License Suspended, following a traffic stop in the 100 block of West 6th Street. Sherman underwent booking procedures at Flora Police Department and was released with a Notice to Appear.
Saturday, June 23 at 10:06 pm, a 17-year-old female from Flora was issued a citation for Expired Registration, following a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Sycamore Street
