WHITE CO., Ill. - White County State's Attorney Denton Aud has announced the sentencing of three individuals on Monday, June 25.
The first was Timothy A. Wilson, 20, of Crossville. Wilson was sentenced on a Class 2 felony Possession of Stolen Vehicle, and Class 3 felony Possession of Meth. He received a sentence of 4 years DOC, to be followed by 2 years of mandatory supervised release (parole) on the first charge, and 4 years DOC to be followed by a year of parole. The sentences will run concurrently.
Wilson was recommended to participate in the Impact Incarceration Program (“Boot Camp”) in DOC. White County Sheriff’s Department was the arresting agency in Wilson’s case.
Next was Richard E. Ott, 32, of Carmi, who was convicted of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony. His sentence was 2 years DOC, to be followed by a year of parole; he was also ordered to pay all costs associated with his prosecution. Carmi Police Department was the investigating agency.
And then April D. Spoonemore, 39, Carmi, was sentenced in her Class 4 felony Retail Theft case. Spoonemore was sentenced to 18 months DOC, to be followed by a year of parole. Carmi Police Department was the arresting agency.
Spoonemore was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle and sentenced by Judge T. Scott Webb at the conclusion of a sentencing hearing. Webb was the sentencing judge for Ott and Wilson as well.
