WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - There’s plenty of DUI going on in Williamson, and even though that’s not generally charged as a felony (DUIs are traffic misdemeanors), we feel like they’re important to bring you, and so there are a LOT of them at the end of this installment of FELONY FRIDAY…so let’s get started.
Dylan C. Forbes, 19 of Marion, is charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Except (A) and (D). Arresting agency Marion police.
Dusty D. Bozarth, 32, and Dustin Avery, 26, both of Creal Springs, have been charged with Use Forged Credit/Debit Card less than $300 and Theft Control Intent less than $500. Arresting agency not available
Amanda B. Dalton, 36 of Marion, is charged with Retail Theft/Disposal of Merchandise more than $300. Arresting agency Marion police.
Naomi L. Marks, 20 of Marion, is charged with Theft/ Control/Intent between $500 and $10,000. According to court files, Marks knowingly exerted control of property over $500 being a 14k diamond ring that she is alleged to have stolen off the nightstand of an acquaintance six blocks away from her home. She claims she was planning to sell the ring to buy diapers for her baby. She is free on $5,000 recog bond. Arresting agency Marion police.
William Rocky Harris, 45 of Carterville, has been charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapon/Vehicle/Loaded/No FCCA. Williamson County deputies responded to an area where there had been reports of multiple gunshots. One of the deputies observed Harris’ vehicle with no front license plate at an intersection. When the officer made contact he observed a Glock 42 handgun on the center console and a Rock River AR-15 in the passenger seat. Both firearms had rounds in the chamber and were not in cases.
Marranda K. Booton, 26 of Marion, is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams. Misdemeanor charges of Operating an Uninsured Vehicle and Misuse of Registration were also filed. She is free on $5,000 recog bond. Arresting agency Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.
Jason S. Dirden, 27 of Herrin, is charged with Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor in Standard Dosage Form. Charges state he had less than 15 grams of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine. Other charges include Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Meth Manufacturing Materials, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Co-defendant Tyler K. Romines, 25 of Makanda, is charged with Possession of Meth Manufacturing Materials
Travis A. Taitt, 26 of Herrin, is charged with Possession of Meth Manufacturing Materials and Obstructing Identification. Dirden had rented a room at a local motel and was stopped in the parking lot for a traffic violation. The officer saw Xanax on the floorboard of the car in a plain-view search of the car and the motel room, which resulted in the confiscation of the previous items. Arresting agency Marion police.
Robert A. Floyd, 26 of St. Louis, is charged Theft Over $10,000. He and an unknown accomplice are accused of stealing a 2k diamond ring, retail value $12,499.99 and a pair of 2k diamond earrings valued at $6,999.99. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
James Vailes, 43 of Marion, is charged with Domestic Battery/Other Prior and Interfering with a Report of Domestic Violence.
Ashley Weber of Johnston City is charged with Bad Check over $150.
Michael W. Lacy, 19 of Herrin, is charged with Theft/Stolen/Intent over $500.
Michael S. McRoy, 50 of Herrin, is charged with Possession of an Amount of a Controlled Substance Except (A) and (D) and Resisting Arrest. As of this time he is in Williamson County Jail awaiting bail to be set.
Kortrell DeShawn Johnson Jr., 20 of Marion, is charged with Forgery/Possession With Intent and Theft/Stolen/Intent with Prior.
