WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - Folks being allowed to walk without posting bond money, folks coming into Williamson from surrounding counties only to get in trouble, and a sad case of a dismissal of a DUI - those are just a few of the features of this week's FELONY FRIDAY.

William Scott Chamness, 43 of Harrisburg, has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams. He is free on a $10,000 recog bond (meaning he didn’t have to pay anything to be released, but if he screws up the terms of his release, he either has to stay in jail until he can post the $10,000 CASH or until the outcome of the case.

Jalen T. Jeralds, 23 of Marion, is charged with Theft or Disposal of Merchandise less than $300, which is lifted to a felony as he (or she; hard to say these days with these names people concoct) has a previous conviction.
