Louisiana man injured in single-vehicle crash, Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND CO., Ill. - A gentleman from Louisiana was transported to a Terre Haute, Indiana hospital following a wreck this evening in Cumberland County.

Illinois State Police in District 12 said the single-vehicle accident occurred at 5:32 p.m. today, Friday, June 1, on Interstate 70 eastbound at milepost 112.

Preliminary investigation, said ISP, shows that both the driver, Bruce McGaha, 68, of Oak Grove, La., and two witnesses stated there was a mechanical issue with the truck or trailer he was operating at the time of the crash: A red 1998 Chevrolet truck pulling a white 1996 fifth-wheel camper.

McGaha stated that the truck lost steering, veered right and left the roadway, traveling down the embankment into the trees, where it came to rest.

McGaha was transported to Regional Hospital in Terre Haute by Cumberland County EMS, for non-life-threatening injuries.

There have no citations issued; however, the crash remains under investigation.

WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - Folks being allowed to walk without posting bond money, folks coming into Williamson from surrounding counties only to get in trouble, and a sad case of a dismissal of a DUI - those are just a few of the features of this week's FELONY FRIDAY.

Dewayne L. Crawford, Jr., 36 of DuQuoin, is charged with Possession of Firearm with Defaced Serial Number, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon/Vehicle and Possession of Cannabis over 100 grams.

William Scott Chamness, 43 of Harrisburg, has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams. He is free on a $10,000 recog bond (meaning he didn’t have to pay anything to be released, but if he screws up the terms of his release, he either has to stay in jail until he can post the $10,000 CASH or until the outcome of the case.

Nathan R. Gaddis, 29 of Herrin, has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery/Use Deadly Weapon, three counts of Domestic Battery with Other Priors and one count of Interfering with a Report of Domestic Violence. He is free on $1,000 cash bond. 

Jalen T. Jeralds, 23 of Marion, is charged with Theft or Disposal of Merchandise less than $300, which is lifted to a felony as he (or she; hard to say these days with these names people concoct) has a previous conviction.

Dewey L. Lyell, 30 of Marion, is charged with one count of Burglary. Fifteen days later he was charged with one count of Aggravated Domestic Battery/Strangle and Resisting a Peace Officer. He is being held in the Williamson County Jail with a $500 cash bond. Arresting agency Marion Police.

Justin A. Prewitt, 22 of Tamms, is charged with one count Possession of Cannabis between 100 and 500 grams. Arresting agency Illinois State Police 

Timothy A. Phemister, 24 of Harrisburg, is charged with one count of Possession of an Amount of Controlled Substance Except (A)/(D) and Possession of Cannabis between 10 and 30 grams. Arresting agency Marion Police.

Christina M. Rossin, 37 of Herrin, is charged with one count Possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams.

Michael A. Tyler, 48 of Royalton, is charged with Aggravated Battery in a Public Place.

Jason N. Smith, 32 of Murphysboro, is charged with Theft/Control/Intent less than $500 with prior conviction

Elizabeth A. Norris, 36 of Marion, and Maegan M. Sims 32 also of Marion are charged with Retail Theft over $300. They are accused of failing to ring up a total of 76 items retailing $378.77 at a self-checkout at Walmart. Arresting agency Marion police.

Man wanted in Union County caught in Williamson

James R. Webb

MARION, Ill. - The man listed as wanted in Union County several weeks ago has been apprehended in the city of Marion in neighboring Williamson County.

Authorities there have advised that James R. Webb, 50 has been arrested by the Marion Police Department on multiple warrants, and is now in custody.

Webb had created a situation at the end of April that prompted authorities to list him as wanted out of Franklin and DuPage counties, with authorities stating that Webb was last known to have been in the Dongola area of Union.

On their Facebook page, the Union County Sheriff's Office thanked everyone for their help in apprehending Webb.

Firing up the smokers on the main drag in Golconda

GOLCONDA, Ill. - There's never a shortage of things to do in Pope County...they have one of the largest deer population in downstate, they have the beautiful Shawnee National Forest, and they have Golconda, where a very active group of community-minded people are always providing fun and interesting events for folks to do in their beautiful town.

This weekend, it's the Lusk Creek BBQ competition going on in a festival environment downtown. Not only is there a barbecue competition complete with trophies and prizes, but there are plenty of things to eat and drink, too, with lots of food trucks...there's even a beer and wine tent set up over by the stage (a very popular place with the heat today).

Further, the beautiful antiques shops, as well as the Pope County Museum (which has some AMAZING items) are all open today. The museum alone is worth the trip down here. As well, there are helicopter rides available over the Ohio...and that's a beautiful sight to see from the air.

Sharp-eyed officer nabs man wanted on Effingham County warrant

PALESTINE, Ill. - Palestine police were on the ball Friday when a sharp-eyed officer spotted a local man he knew to be wanted on an Effingham County warrant and took him into custody.

Palestine Chief of Police Jeff Besing said that on Friday, June 1, 2018 at approximately 9:00 p.m., Palestine Police Officer Brandon Carpenter observed a male subject known to him to be wanted on an Effingham County Body Attachment warrant walk into the Casey's General Store.

Officer Carpenter made contact with and took the male subject (identified as Coltin T. Woods, 22 of Palestine) into custody on the warrant. A search of Woods' person incident to the arrest found Woods to be in possession of suspected cannabis.

Woods was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail where he was charged with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (more than 30 gms), Class A Misdemeanor and served with the Effingham County warrant.

Woods was charged, processed and held pending bond.

Man picked up on sex assault warrant; victim claims attacked after drinking

WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - Darrell H. Bell, 32 of Marion, was picked up Friday on a warrant for Criminal Sexual Assault knowing the victim was unable to give consent. 

Charges were filed on May 25 and a warrant was issued on May 30 on the charge, which stems from an incident that happened on August 10, 2017. The victim stated to authorities that while she was spending the night at Bell’s home that he shares with his girlfriend when she had too much to drink.

She stated that Bell entered the room where she was sleeping and got on top of her and penetrated her. She was unable to fight back or yell for help other than a mumble. Court documents state that the victim said Bell was having trouble keeping an erection and ended up ejaculating on her arm. 

A rape kit was performed on the victim and it came back with Bell’s DNA profile.

Bell is being held in the Williamson County Jail.

Williamson County Sheriff offers women’s self-defense classes

WILLIAMSON CO., Ill. - Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick is offering a Women’s Self-Defense class to residents of Williamson County.

The class will be on Monday June 11 and Tuesday June 12 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.. It will be held at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

This first Women’s Self-Defense class will be limited to 20 people. There is no charge for the class.

Tanker overturns on interstate; driver taken to St. Anthony’s

SHELBY CO., Ill. - A truck driver is fortunate to have received only minor injuries after his tanker truck rolled over on Interstate 57 in Shelby County.

The accident happened at 1 a.m. this morning, Sunday, June 3.

Preliminary investigative details indicate that a white 2012 Kenwworth truck-tractor being driven by Jason W. Cantrall, 40, no address given, pulling a silver tank trailer, was northbound on I-57 near milepost 169.

Cantrall stated that he took his eyes off the roadway and when he looked up, he was leaving the roadway.

The rig entered the east ditch, overturned on its passenger side, and came to rest.

Cantrall was transported to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, where he was treated for minor injuries.

Cantrall was later cited for Improper Lane Usage and Failure to Wear Seatbelt.


Motorcyclist strikes car in passing attempt; driver ejected from bike

CUMBERLAND CO., Ill. - A motorcyclist was transported to Carle Hospital in Champaign after a collision with a turning vehicle that threw him from his bike this afternoon in Cumberland County.

Illinois State Police said the accident occurred on Route 40 at County Road 2100E at 3:04 p.m. today, Sunday, June 3.

Preliminary investigative details indicate that a purple 1998 Harley Davidson being operated by Roger East, 58, of Charleston, and a silver 2004 Dodge being driven by Courtney Davis, 18, of Greenup, were both westbound on 40 east of CR 2100E, with the Harley behind the Dodge. The Dodge was turning left onto the county road.

The bike attempted to pass the car in the left lane and struck the Dodge in the driver's side door while the Dodge was turning left.

East was ejected from the motorcycle and was transported to Carle Hospital in Champaign. Davis, along with two passengers, Quinten Jones, 21 of Olney, and a 17-year-old female, no address given, were apparently uninjured.

East was cited for Improper Overtaking on Left, and Operating Uninsured Vehicle. 

Traffic stop leads to multiple arrests of Vincennes folks, Robinson driver

PALESTINE, Ill. - Palestine authorities have announced a serious set of arrests that occurred very early Sunday morning when a vehicle was tracked out of the village.

Palestine Police Chief Jeff Besing initiated a vehicle stop on a 1998 Black Dodge Ram truck at approximately 12:44 a.m. early this morning, Sunday, June 3 on Route 33 just east of Gordon Junction in reference to a possible non-licensed driver.

The vehicle stop subsequently resulted in the arrest of the driver (Bryan A. Shanes, 31 of Robinson) on an active arrest warrant out of Knox County, Indiana, for Failure to Appear which was extraditable. Shanes was also issued a traffic citation for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

A further investigation into this vehicle stop resulted in the arrest of the driver (Shanes) and two female passengers (Myra G. Hooten, 24 and Dee Ett M. Ramsey, 26, both of Vincennes, Ind.) for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.

All subjects were transported to the Crawford County Jail where they were charged, processed and are being held in lieu of bond. Shanes is also being held on the Knox County warrant.

Assisting Chief Besing with this arrest was Robinson Police Officer Nick Earnest.

Another oil field attempted theft leaving damage reported

WHITE CO., Ill. - A Criminal Damage to Property report has been made in White County after yet another oil field theft attempt.

White County Deputy Randy Graves took a report Saturday, June 2, regarding damage and attempted theft the night before.

Jim Reynolds was the reporter, and he advised that sometime between 5 p.m. Friday, June 1, and 11 a.m. Saturday, someone entered upon the Ackerman oil lease at 1300N at a half-mile east of 1700E. The oil well in question is on the north side of the roadway.

The suspect at this location, Reynolds reported, climbed the stairs to the oil well. The suspect then took the bolts and nuts off the back of the well causing the weights to drop off the well. The weights hit the electric motor, causing damage to the motor. The suspect did not take the weights; in Graves' report, it's noted that it's unknown as to why the weights weren't taken.

Wabash County’s sheriff outlines department dealings for May

WABASH CO., Ill. - Wabash County Sheriff Derek Morgan has submitted reports detailing what his department has handled in the county for the month of May.

It starts with an incident on May 1, when at 12:53 A.M. the Wabash County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle, a Chevy truck, was reported to be pulling into driveways and backing out in the rural Friendsville area. Deputies responded and were updated by the complainant that the truck had crashed and the occupant had run into the wooded area. Deputy Bogard and K9 Roy started to track the suspect, who gave himself up very quickly. Glenn Tyler Tenbarge, 29 of Carlisle Ind., was taken into custody without incident.  Tenbarge was charged with numerous traffic offenses as well as Possession of Methamphetamine.

On May 12, the Wabash County Sheriff's Office responded to 2nd Street in Keensburg reference a fight in progress.  Once on scene it was determined a male occupant had gotten into a physical altercation with a friend. Once the fight broke out in the residence, a family member stepped in to stop the fight. Parties were separated but not before a bat was used against the victim and the aggressor. Joseph D. Payne, 30 of Keensburg, was charged with Domestic Battery and taken to the Wabash County Jail. The Illinois Department of Corrections issued a no-bond warrant for Payne as well for a parole violation. Payne was taken to the Wabash County Jail and later transferred to the custody of the Department of Corrections.

Jeffery L. Isham

On May 16, the Wabash County Sheriff's Office assisted the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services with a complaint. The result of the investigation led to the arrest of Jeffery L. Isham, 27 of Keensburg. Isham was charged with two counts of Domestic Battery and taken to the Wabash County jail. Isham later posted a $2000 cash bond to secure his release.

Tommy "Dale" Hughes

On May 18, the Wabash County Sheriff's Office arrested Tommy "Dale" Hughes, 61 of Allendale. Hughes had an active Wabash County warrant for Delivery of Methamphetamine. Hughes was taken to the Wabash County Jail where he posted $2,500 cash bond to secure his release.

Jackie Beal

On May 19, the Wabash County Sheriff's Office arrested Jackie Beal, 58 of Browns. Deputies had handled two calls with Beal, one being a verbal domestic over $20 and the other over a concern for his own safety called in by another family member. During the first call Beal handed over firearms to deputies since he did not have a valid F.O.I.D. card. It was found on the second call that he in fact had additional firearms inside the residence. Beal was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he later posted $150 cash bond.

Chelse A. Wilkinson

On May 27, the Wabash County Sheriff Office stopped a vehicle for driving in the wrong lane and off the roadway. Upon stopping the vehicle the deputy advised the driver the reason for the stop. After issuing the driver, Chelse A. Wilkinson, a written warning for the violation, a free-air narcotic sniff was performed by K9 Roy and Deputy Bogard. K9 Roy alerted to the vehicle and Wilkinson was found to be in possession of hypodermic needles.  Wilkinson was taken to the Wabash County Jail and late posted bond.

Car all over the highway stopped in Carmi; plenty of alleged dope found

CARMI, Ill. - A car that was all over the road and endangering other motorists Friday was stopped in Carmi, and a subsequent search of the car provided the possible reason for the near-head-on collisions the driver almost caused.

Carmi Police report that at approximately 2:12 p.m. Friday, June 1, their dispatch received calls of a reckless driver northbound on Illinois Route 1 at Brownsville.

The vehicle was reported to have left the roadway multiple times and traveled into oncoming lanes of traffic (as we noted in this post on Friday at our Facebook page).

Fortunately, callers who were following the vehicle were giving its location, and Carmi Police were able to get behind the vehicle in town.

The vehicle was stopped on West Main Street at Slocumb after officers observed it leave the lane of travel, and field sobriety tasks were conducted on the driver, Cody V. Allen, 30, of Carmi. Allen was subsequently arrested for DUI Drugs.

He was searched, and the officer located a metal spoon and syringe, the latter of which, the officer was advised, contained oxycodone. A further search revealed a glass pipe with cannabis.

Allen was transported to the jail and charged with DUI-Drugs, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Hypodermic Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia and citations were issued for Improper Lane Usage, Possession of Less than 10 grams of Cannabis, and Possession of Cannabis Paraphernalia.

Bond was set at $1,500 cash, and apparently Allen was able to post that.

Man flown to Barnes in St. Louis after single-vehicle accident

FAYETTE CO., Ill. - A Mulberry Grove man was seriously injured after his vehicle went off Highway 40 in Fayette County not far from his home town.

The single-vehicle accident occurred at 9:18 p.m. last night, Sunday, June 3, said Illinois State Police in Effingham who worked the wreck.

Preliminary investigative details indicate that a 2001 Ford Explorer being driven by Derek William Spradling, 28, from Mulberry Grove, was traveling westbound on U.S. Route 40 near Fayette County Road 100 East, two miles east of Mulberry Grove.

Spradling, said ISP, lost control of his vehicle traveling off the north side of Route 40, then back across the roadway to the south side of 40, where the vehicle overturned multiple times.

Spradling was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown by Air Evac to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries.

He has been cited with Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, and Failure to Wear a Seatbelt.

Empty house destroyed by fire Monday night

MARION, Ill. - An empty residence in Marion was destroyed last night by fire.

The house, located at 608 South Hadfield Street in Marion, suffered major damage in the fire, which was being worked around 10 p.m. last night, Monday, June 4.

Neighbors say no one had lived in the home for about a year and a half.

The neighbor who reported the fire said when he came outside, flames were shooting from the second window from the left in the front.

While there's no information currently on what time the call came in, firemen were still on the scene at 10:10 p.m., and Marion Fire Chief Jerry Odum stated that neighbors had seen people come and go from time to time.

One lady who lives a block away said at one time an elderly couple had lived there and she had taken care of the woman.

Any further info obtained about the fire will be posted here if we get it today, or in a separate post if it comes in later.

Traffic stops – including one on a 16-year-old – yield arrests in Carmi

CARMI, Ill. - A 16-year-old driver was arrested last night and charged with cannabis possession in delivery amounts in fruitful traffic stops in Carmi Monday and into this morning, according to police reports.

That incident occurred yesterday afternoon, Monday, June 4, when at 12:34 p.m., a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle was executed on Stewart Street at Eighth.

Police found a 16-year-old male behind the wheel, and apparently when a search was conducted, items of contraband were located: Cannabis, in particular.

The 16-year-old was arrested and charged with Possession of 30-100 grams of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Paraphernalia, and of course, Speeding 41 mph in a 25 mph zone.

The juvenile was transported to the Carmi Police Department and later released to his parent.

At 6:20 Monday evening, a Carmi officer observed Kirstie A. Locklar, 25 of Grayville, driving a dark blue Chrysler 300 on Oak Street. Knowing her license was suspended, a traffic stop was initiated hear the intersection of Oak and Lexington.

She was placed under arrest and transported to the city/county jail, where she was later released after posting $150 cash bond.

And then early this morning (Tuesday, June 5), police arrested Timothy Wilson, 21, of Crossville, who was wanted on a White County warrant for Aggravated Battery and Criminal Damage to Property.

Wilson was the passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a traffic stop. As it turns out, The driver, Jessica Brown, 23 of Carmi, was cited for not having proof of insurance.

CLAY CO., Ill. - Here's your Clay County Sheriff's report as provided by Clay County Sheriff Andy Myers. This one runs from May 29 to June 1, 2018...and for such a short time frame, Sheriff Myers' deputies were busy.

May 29, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Evangeline Fopay, 37, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.

May 30, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Brody Roberts, 20, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Petition to Revoke Probation on the original charge of D.U.I. and Unlawful Use of Weapons. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.

May 31, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Darrell Newman, 28, Flora (AGAIN) on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Aggravated Battery. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released. Look for Newman's exploits in the upcoming print version, on stands next Tuesday and Wednesday.

May 31, Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Dillon L. Gordon, 21, Flora, on two outstanding Clay County warrants. The first for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. The second for Petition to Revoke Probation on the original charge of Sexual Exploitation of a Child. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10 percent). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

June 1, Robert Barlow, 29, Flora, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Domestic Battery. Bond set at $7,500.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

June 2, Donald Boots, 39, Noble, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Improper Lane Usage. Bond set at $1,500.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.

June 4, Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Julie Friend, 51, Geff, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Criminal Trespass to Land. Bond set at $2,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.

June 4, Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Lisa Melton, 57, Fairfield, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Criminal Trespass to Land. Bond set at $2,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.

June 5, Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Monty R. Taylor, 42, Clay City, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail awaiting court appearance.

June 1, Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy cited Terry Bible, 60, Louisville, for Louisville City Ordinance, Dogs at Large. He was given a Notice to Appear in Clay County Court.

Mt. Carmel Police reports, June 1 through 4, 2018

MT. CARMEL, Ill. - Wabash County's biggest burg has released their police activity report, covering arrests made June 1 through 4, 2018.

On June 1, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Brandon H. Rayborn, 33, of Mt. Carmel, after he was stopped in the 900 block of North Walnut Street. Rayborn was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license and was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of bond.

Also on the first, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Charles R. Leonard Jr., 53, of Evansville after police responded to a reckless driver complaint on Rt. 1. Police located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The arresting officer reported smelling an alcoholic beverage odor coming from the driver and requested he submit to field sobriety testing.  Leonard was subsequently arrested for DUI and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for DUI, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Leonard was held pending the posting of bond.

On June 3, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Nathaniel A. Anderson, 40 of Albion, after he was stopped by MCPD Officers. The vehicle Anderson was driving was called in as a reckless driver. Police located the vehicle in the 400 block of West Ninth Street and made contact with Anderson. The arresting officer reported smelling an alcoholic beverage odor coming from Anderson. Anderson was arrested for DUI and was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was giving a citation for DUI. Anderson was held pending the posting of bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested Autumn R. Mays, 20, of Albion, that same day. An officer on patrol observed two male subjects he thought were in an argument behind a home in the 900 block of Walnut Street. Mays was at the residence and when police asked for her information, it is alleged she provided the arresting officer with a false name. Mays would later tell police she lied because she had warrants out of Edwards County. Police transported her to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with Obstruction of Justice and she was served two warrants out of Edwards County.

And on June 4, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Austin J. Comer, 23 of Mt. Carmel, after the vehicle he was in was stopped by Mt. Carmel Police. Comer was arrested on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant, a failure to appear warrant for possession of cannabis out of Jasper County, and a manufacture and delivery of cannabis warrant out of Richland County. Comer is being held pending the posting of bond on all three warrants.

HERRIN, Ill. - Here are the arrests made by Herrin Police for the time period covering May 28 to June 2, 2108.

Rachel A. Wiseman, 36, Herrin, was arrested on May 28 for Battery. Wiseman was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Nicholas D. O’Connor, 27, Creal Springs, was arrested on May 28 for Unlawful Use of Weapons. O’Connor was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Joshua A. Pearce, 31, Mt. Vernon, was arrested on May 28 for Unlawful Use of Weapons by felon. Pearce was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Peggy J. Pearson, 37, Herrin, was arrested on May 29 for Retail Theft. Pearson was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Keith Darter Jr., 36, Herrin, was arrested on May 30 for Violation of Order of Protection. Darter was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Leonard M. Falcone, 49, Herrin, was arrested on May 31 on a Jefferson County warrant for Dangerous Drugs. Falcone was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Sherri M. Dwyer, 27, Herrin, was arrested on May 31 on a Williamson County Warrant for Retail Theft. Dwyer was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Brad M. Crozier, 36, Herrin, was arrested on June 2 on a Williamson County Warrant for Violation of Court Order. Crozier was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Donnie L. Garten, 59, Herrin, was arrested on June 2 on a Williamson County Warrant for Battery. Garten was also charged with Theft and Criminal Damage to Property. Garten was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

Kevin R. Cameron, 53, Herrin, was arrested on June 2 for Domestic Battery. Cameron was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

James E. Inc, 35, Ionia, Mich., was arrested on June 2 for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to deliver, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Inc was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
