WANT TO PROTEST FRACKING? HERE’S WHAT YOU LOOK FOR

GALLATIN CO.—I had a treat this morning.

“Trying to develop viable, alternate energy sources” (aka FRACKING, which has been proven to contaminate water aquifers, destroy topsoil with chemicals that are “proprietary” and therefore unavailable to anyone except the companies using them, and actually causing earthquakes in areas of the country that are prone to seismic activity) these rude jerks are RIGHT NOW in front of the Title Office in Shawneetown, pulling files, causing commotion and headache, and not really making it worth the copying fees they’re paying for land titles and deeds, which they need so that can attempt to obtain mineral rights to do the work.

The discussion that the guy in the red Subaru had with me ended pretty abruptly when I advised him who I was….but not before he thought he was being cute taking a photo of ME  so “everybody would know what (you) look like” (I guess he’s never seen our vidcasts and therefore doesn’t realize my face is all over the place).

Well, now the ass-end of his “team’s” cars will be all over the place.

These people don’t even hire local folks to go do the research at the title offices and courthouses…they bring these VERY rude men up from southern states to clog up proceedings in courthouses and cause all kinds of trouble. Further, they don’t do a very good job. We’ll have something coming up about a massive screwup in Edwards County as regards farmers’ land rights…and we’re hearing something similar occurred in Saline not long ago as well.

The guy in the red Subaru, who attempted to give me a name but I didn’t catch it because, honestly, it was a pretty hostile situation, didn’t back off until I explained to him what I was doing. He then wisely stated he didn’t want to get into it with anyone who buys ink by the barrel—literally, he said that.

But the problem I’m having with it is this.

Is he going to accost a regular citizen like that?

You know, one of those citizens who actually PAYS, with his or her property taxes, for the building and personnel that maintains all those files his company’s making money off of poring through day in, day out, and being rude to people present in the facility at the process?

I think he definitely would be.

And that just pisses me off.

So whatever you’re doing today, cruise on by this lineup of out-of-state vehicles in Shawneetown, ask questions, get answers, hell, spit on the pavement if it’s not against city ordinance.

This shit doesn’t have to go on. We don’t need “alternative energy” at the risk of our land being contaminated.

These dweebs may not be the ones doing it, but they’re the first step toward it. So take action if you can…because you know THEY are.
