WEST SALEM, Ill. - With a couple of weirdoes still holding office (and causing problems) on the West Salem Village Board of Trustees, the agenda for Monday's meeting kind of reflects the level of faux outrage - and irony - many are experiencing these days.

Following the effort on the part of national libwhacks to try and oust President Donald Trump (sequentially, it's been 1- Make sure bizarre sexual harassment/behavior on the part of celebrities/politicians is brought out, 2 - Have faux outrage over the issue, 3 - Castigate those named and ruin their careers, thus sacrificing them on the altar of libwhackism and 4 - Demand the same be done to the prez, since all their other efforts to oust him have failed miserably), the agenda features what the state of Illinois is now forcing all municipalities/small bodies of government to do: Adopt a "policy" that, effectively, is already in place through the office of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) - you can't sexually harass people in the workplace.

Of course, the state is known for overkill in areas where it's not needed, so this is about par for the course.

In the meantime, the board struggles with whackadoo Donny Knackmus, whose bizarre antics might be the subject of an explosive piece coming up in the future. Be watching. Here's the agenda.

The meeting is Monday, December 18, at 7 p.m. at city hall, next to the fire department.
