CRAWFORD CO.– Preliminary reports are that there has been a one vehicle wreck, occurring at approximately 10:30 p.m. (May 13, 2013) east of Oblong with an amputation involved. It was reported that they found the missing appendage, being an arm, in a nearby field. In an attempt to preserve the arm, medical personal put it on ice for transportation.
Lifeline is en route to an area hospital (presumably Crawford Medical Hospital or Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL), which will then be taking the person straight to the landing pad. As far as who and where the person will be life-flighted to, keep checking back for updates.
