CLAY CO., Ill. - A Flora woman who is featured on page 2 of the current issue has been arrested on a probation revocation postulated would be coming following felony charges in Olney.

Jennifer Block, 21, whose case in Clay County was just resolved right before she was charged in a separate incident in Olney literally days later, has finally had probation revocation filed on her in Clay due to the arrest in the Richland case.

Zac Leaf

Regular readers will recall that Block was the young woman arrested in January after an investigation finally confirmed that she was the one who for about a year and a half was posing as local felon Zac Leaf, harassing locals online. She entered a plea in late June to one of the felonies she was charged with, but three days later, was charged in Richland with felonies completely unrelated to the Leaf thing as far as can be ascertained. You can read all about the entire mess at this link to the page 2 story if you have an online membership to the e-Edition.

Block's arrest turned up on the Clay County Sheriff's Department report, along with a few other items of interest, as provided by Clay County Sheriff Andy Myers, as featured here.

On July 31, the Clay County Sheriff's Office received a report of a minor vehicle accident at the intersection of Chestnut Street and U.S. Highway 45 in Louisville. Apparently Stacey Allen, 37, Louisville, operating a 2015 Chevrolet was approaching the stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a 2013 Chevrolet operated by a 17-year-old female from Louisville. No injuries reported.

August 1, Clay County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Spencer T. Harrell, 50, of Xenia, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Speeding. Harrell is also charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Harrell's total bond is $20,000 (10 percent) plus $75 warrant fee. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

On August 1 was also when Block was arrested on the outstanding Clay County warrant for Petition to Revoke Probation on the original charges of Harassment Through Electronic Communication. Bond was set at $20,000 ($2,000 cash). She posted bond and was released.

On August 2, Clay County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Kaci Thompson, 28, Clay City for Domestic Battery. Bond set at $10,000 (10 percent). She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
