WHITE CO., Ill. - A 36-year-old Carmi woman has been lodged in the White County Jail after a search following a traffic stop uncovered alleged dope items.
Carmi Police reports indicate that an officer observed Stephanie Fulkerson, formerly of Ridgway but reportedly most recently of Carmi, driving a vehicle and the officer knew her license to be suspended, so she was pulled over.
Fulkerson was arrested for Driving on a Suspended License; a subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a one-hitter pipe with a small amount of cannabis, as well as a syringe which contents tested positive for methamphetamine.
She was jailed for Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Hypodermic Syringe, and Possession of Meth, along with civil citations for the cannabis violations and multiple traffic citations: Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Failure to Notify Secretary of State Change of Address.
