FLORA, Ill. - Flora's Police Chief John Nicholson has submitted activity for his department during the dates of December 14 through the 19th, 2016.
Wednesday, December 14 at 12:24 am, Flora Police arrested Gregory Jones, 51, of Xenia on an outstanding Clay County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Jones underwent booking procedures at Flora Police Department and was then transported to Clay County Jail.
Wednesday, December 14 at 2:41 pm, Gary Phillips, 70, of Flora was arrested by Flora Police Officers for assault, following an incident in the 300 block of West North Avenue. Phillips was photographed and fingerprinted at Flora Police Department and was released with a Notice to Appear.
Wednesday, December 14 at 7:15 pm, Flora Police arrested James Ort, 37, of Flora for Domestic Battery following an incident in the 200 block of Park. After undergoing booking procedures at Flora Police Department, Ort was transferred to the custody of Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Sunday, December 18 at 6:25 pm, Flora Police arrested Kalei Obasa, 24, of Flora on an outstanding Effingham County Warrant. Stokes underwent booking procedures prior to posting the necessary cash bond and being released with a court date.
Sunday, December 18 at 9:01 pm, Flora Police arrested Aaron Rice, 25, of Xenia on a Marion County Warrant for Failure to Appear on original charge of DUI. Rice was also issued Local Ordinance Citations for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Rice was able to post bond and was released.
Monday, December 19 at 9:58 am, Ryan Keller, 27, of Flora was arrested on a Wayne County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Keller was transported to Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
