WHITE CO.—The younger brother of White County double-homicide suspect Danny K. Coston has been jailed on meth manufacturing charges.
Dustin Coston, 26, was booked into the same county jail last night (shortly after 9 p.m.) where his brother has been housed since last August 31 following an alleged confession of murdering two young White County people, Jessica Evans and Jacob Wheeler on August 26.
The younger Coston stands charged with Meth Manufacturing less than 15 grams, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia with intent to manufacture meth, and Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia in an unauthorized container.
Dustin Coston has a history of criminal conduct in White County dating back, as well as some criminal history in neighboring Indiana over the past few years.
His history of criminal activity lead many to speculate last year that there might have been some kind of meth involvement as regards the murders of the two at a remote campsite near the Little Wabash River, and many in the public were initially concerned that Dustin Coston might have been somehow involved with his brother in the case, since Danny Coston had no criminal history whatsoever. However, none of that speculation ever evolved into anything solid, and it appears that Danny Coston allegedly acted on his own.
And while there’s still nothing to indicate any development to this effect, this situation with Dustin’s arrest just doesn’t look good in the scheme of things….especially given that there may be a defense of Danny Coston being under the influence of something when he allegedly committed the murders, and that his brother is allegedly a purveyor of “something” that a person could be under the influence OF.
